Wicked Witch and Brusho's

Hi everyone how you all doing? I have some new and exciting things coming up and can hardly wait to tell you all about them but for now im having to sssshhhhhh. Hee Hee
Sooo I have recently invested in some Brusho Paints and have been having fun playing experimenting with them. The card that I am sharing with you today shows the very first backing paper that i have created using them and also showcases the FAB Wicked Witch stamp set that is part of the Wizard of Oz inspired collection from Visible Image.
Here it is and I hope that you like it.
Heres how i did it!
I took a 7x7 card blank from my stash and covered it with textured cardstock and lightly distressed the edges. I added the background that I created using Brushos also distressed the edges. The Wicked Witch, sentiment fire and flying monkey are from the Wicked Witch stamp set from Visible Image and coloured with Copics and a little gel pen. I finished by adding a few orange Card Candi.

The topper is created from a die cut fancy shape, inked around the edges with the same ink as before with the gorgeous Hearts Entwined verse stamp from visible Image in the centre. The Husband lettering is die cut from memory box letters die and inked as before and to finish I have Embellished with a satin bow, self adhesive pearls die cut flowers and heart ribbon from my stash.

Karleigh Sue - Valentines challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome back to my little bit of blogland !
Life seems to have ran away with me recently with redecorating my place and all my craft stash was packed away but the revamped lounge is now complete and my craft has once again commenced sooo on that note today I would like to share with you a door/wall hanger that I have created using the FAB Hippie Love digi image designed by Cheri Shull owner / designer of Karleigh Sue Digis.
Here it is and I hope that you like it.

Here's how I did it!
Using an MDF door/ wall hanger I covered it with some pretty heart paper from my stash and inked all around the edges. I have created a tag from Jute to which I added a self adhesive sentiment and ribbon bow. The image is the gorgeous Hippie Love digi image available over in the Karleigh Sue Shoppe I have coloured her with a selection of Copic pens, I have really enjoyed colouring her. To embellish I have used ribbon flowers across the bottom and some lovely mulberry paper flowers across the arch of the wall/door hanger.
